An 11 year research programme has found no evidence of adverse effects on health from use of mobile phones or their base stations.1
The Mobile Telecommunications and Health Research programme was set up in 2001 as part of the government’s response to the recommendations of the Independent Expert Group on Mobile Phones, led by William Stewart, chairman of Tayside University Hospitals NHS Trust.
