Cover note Coronavirus particles, coloured transmission electron micrograph (TEM).
The virus particles themselves comprise geneticmaterial surrounded by a protein coat
covered with surface proteins (yellow dots around particles). It is this crown of proteins
that gives the coronaviruses their name. Magnification unknown
