David John Rudman
Former general practitioner Whitton, Middlesex (b Kent 1922; q Guy’s Hospital,
London, 1945) died from cancer on 30 August 2005.
After qualifying David served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in Denmark
and Germany. He returned to England in 1947 and took up hospital posts in
Shoreham and Watford. He then entered general practice in Whitton, Middlesex,
the following year where he spent the rest of his career. His wife, Margaret,
assisted him for many years in running the practice until he retired in 1985.
David had many and varied interests, of which gardening and music were foremost.
He also became a valued member of the local community care group, Whitton
Network. He leaves his wife, Margaret; two children, Peter and Jane; and
six grandchildren, Laura, Shaun, Natasha, Clare, Juliet, and Faye. [David
