    Abstract

In 20 patients with chronic bronchitis and moderate or severe airways obstruction inhalation of 40 μg of a new anticholinergic drug, Sch 1000, was found to produce stronger and more persistent bronchodilation than inhalation of 200 μg of salbutamol.
