New head of family planning is—you guessed it—against birth control

How about a little contest? What is President Donald J Trump’s worst appointment—so far? (I have to add that caveat because he has named so few senior staff, but that’s another rant.) Is it his housing secretary, Ben Carson, who is a retired brain surgeon with no demonstrable policy experience in that area? Or his education secretary, Betsy DeVos, who showed no understanding of publicly supported education in her confirmation hearings? How about the new head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, who previously specialized in suing the agency he now heads?
