NHS trusts continue to think they are over-regulated, survey finds

NHS trusts continue to believe they are overburdened by demands from regulators which remain too frequent and provide poor value for money, a new survey has found.

The poll1 of senior trust leaders by NHS Providers, the body representing NHS trusts in England, found that two thirds (68%) thought that demand from regulators including NHS Improvement and the Care Quality Commission had increased in the past 12 months.
