Venk Mani

Venk Mani was born in India. His early years were spent growing up in Rangoon, Burma, before its occupation by the Japanese in the second world war, and after its reoccupation after the defeat of Japan in Asia. In between and after his family returned to India after Burma became independent, he lived in several places, from the hills of Shimla to the agricultural wetlands of Kerala.
