The research cited in “Revalidation and resignation” in The BMJ’s Minerva article showed that numerous factors contributed to workload pressure and burnout,1 but it would be wrong to blame all of this on revalidation. In addition, this limited study requires caution—the researchers admitted “uncertainty over the representativeness of the respondents.”
