Head of radiology school to be re-appointed after complaints from royal college

Health Education England (HEE) has agreed to rerun the process of appointing a head to a regional training school for radiologists, after the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) criticised the decision to appoint a non medic to the role.
The college was unhappy that it was not consulted about the “ill informed and ill conceived” decision to appoint a radiographer to the post of head of the Yorkshire and the Humber School of Radiology.1 …
