EU exit would have a detrimental effect on the NHS, academics warn

Leaving the European Union (EU) would have an adverse impact on the NHS and the health of UK residents, a group of academics from the school of public health at Imperial College, London said in an article in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine.1 NHS England chief executive, Simon Stevens, has agreed with this view.
