Drug users’ families demand end to “war on drugs”

The families of dead users of illicit drugs protested outside the United Nations headquarters in New York City on Monday 18 April, the day before the start of an emergency three day special meeting of the UN general assembly (UNGASS2016) to discuss the global drug problem, the first since 1998.
