Three quarters of patients with diabetes in England and Wales are now meeting target blood pressure levels, figures have shown.
Achieving blood pressure levels of ≤140/80 is one of three treatment targets for patients with diabetes recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). The latest findings from the National Diabetes Audit showed a steady improvement against this target in patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.1
