More than 80 international drug companies and key industry associations have issued a joint statement setting out how governments and industry can collaborate to overcome the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance, with a declaration launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
In the Declaration on Combating Antimicrobial Resistance commercial drug and diagnostic developers have agreed a common set of principles to support antibiotic conservation and the development of new drugs, diagnostic tests, and vaccines.1
