A trainee anaesthetist who had sex with an escort in a hospital room, while on call at a maternity hospital, has been suspended from the UK medical register for 10 months.
Rupert Pemsel, 32, who arranged for the sex worker to visit him at the hospital in December 2013 after viewing internet porn, indulged in “deplorable and morally reprehensible” behaviour, a medical practitioners tribunal declared.
