Rosemary Catriona Alison Hogarth trained at the University of Edinburgh, achieving a BSc in pharmacology and qualifying in medicine in 2007. She was an extremely thoughtful and considerate doctor and particularly empathetic towards her elderly patients’ needs. She was passionate about pursuing a career in caring for the elderly and went on to pass MRCP parts 1 and 2. After a diagnosis of glioblastoma in 2012, she moved to London to be closer to her family. Thereafter, she continued practising medicine and was accepted on to GP training, where she enjoyed working in dermatology at Orpington Hospital (KCH Trust). She is very much missed by all those who knew her.
Trainee general practitioner (b 1983; q Edinburgh 2007; MRCP), died from glioblastoma on 28 February 2015.
