Prafulla Mangalore

Prafulla Mangalore came to the UK in 1976, after which she worked in several hospitals. She attained her postgraduate degree at York District Hospital and then worked as an associate specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology at Calderdale/Huddersfield Royal Infirmary until she retired in 2012.

She dedicated her working life to looking after the patients in her care. After retiring she continued to be involved in various charitable organisations. She had a special interest in wildlife and art and also loved classical music. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her friends and colleagues.
