The virtual ban on abortion in Northern Ireland is a breach of the European Convention on Human Rights, a High Court judge has declared in a historic ruling.
Mr Justice Horner ruled that the law violated the convention in denying abortions in cases where the fetus had a fatal abnormality or where the woman or girl was pregnant as a result of rape or incest.
