A strategic partnership with the United Kingdom worth a £1bn (€1.4bn; $1.5bn) investment to the Indian healthcare system is set to establish 11 institutes of health in India.

After the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the UK an implementation task force was formed by the governments of both countries to create arms of UK universities, companies, and NHS organisations in India.1
