Insulin pumps improve glucose control in children with type 1 diabetes, study finds

Treatment with an insulin pump provides significantly better glycaemic control than injecting insulin in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes, a study analysing data from three large international registries has found—yet these pumps are used infrequently in the United Kingdom because guidelines limit their use.
