Doctor is suspended for aborting fetus because it was female

A doctor who was recorded in a newspaper sting apparently approving the abortion of an unwanted female fetus has been suspended from practice for three months by the UK Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service.
Palaniappan Rajmohan admitted falsely recording that “Ms A” wanted a termination because she was “too young for pregnancy” when she had told him that the real reason was the sex of the fetus.
