More needs to be done to tackle the growth in the number of patients who have both tuberculosis (TB) and diabetes, global health experts have said.
Over 100 delegates attending a two day summit in Bali, Indonesia, this week—organised by the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, the World Diabetes Foundation, and the Ministry of Health of the Government of Indonesia—signed a declaration warning that the two illnesses represented a “looming co-epidemic.”
