Pauline Cafferkey, the Scottish nurse who contracted Ebola in Sierra Leone last December, has been readmitted to an isolation unit in London after an “unusual late complication.”
Experts have warned that the Ebola virus may persist in asymptomatic individuals and be a potential reservoir of the virus, although they added that the risk of transmission from these individuals seemed to be very low.
