NHS patients in Kent will have the option of travelling to France for surgery, after the Centre Hospitalier de Calais won a contract to provide treatment to NHS patients of the South Kent Coast clinical commissioning group (CCG).
The CCG recently invited organisations across Europe to tender to provide general surgery, gynaecology, cataract surgery, pain management, and orthopaedics.
