Samuel Danso Gyimah (“Sam”; “Wofa”) and I were friends for 55 years, since our senior school days at the famous Mfantsipim School in Cape Coast, Ghana. His mild and meek and gentle manner belied his wonderful sense of humour and a great determination to succeed.
