Doctors less likely than patients to report toxicity of cancer treatments, study shows

Doctors consistently under-report symptomatic toxicities, such as nausea, associated with anticancer treatments when compared with patients’ reporting, shows a study that looked at data on side effects reported prospectively in three randomised trials.1
