As a consultant working as Ebola virus disease technical adviser for a UN agency and an international non-governmental organisation in Guinea from 15 September 2014 to 15 March 2015, I am unclear what evidence the “consensus” on the “exception” of the charity Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is based on.1 Who evaluated MSF’s Ebola treatment centres?
