Out-of-hours service in Leicester is rated inadequate: The Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland out-of-hours service has been put into special measures after being found inadequate by the healthcare regulator, the Care Quality Commission. Inspectors found that the service, which is provided by Central Nottinghamshire Clinical Services, was inadequate for providing safe, effective, and responsive service and for being well led. In addition, the care and treatment provided by the service was not always delivered in line with best practice, the regulator said.
