A cancer researcher who wished to sue anonymous commentators on the online journal club PubPeer for defamation has failed in his court bid to unmask them. A circuit court judge in Wayne County, Michigan, largely upheld a motion by PubPeer’s lawyers to dismiss Fazlul Sarkar’s application on First Amendment grounds.
