AIDS activists have filed a ballot measure with the US state of California that would require performers in adult films to wear condoms during “all acts of vaginal or anal intercourse during the production of adult films.”
If adopted, the proposed “California Safer Sex in the Adult Film Industry Act” would require producers of adult films to adopt work practices to protect performers from exposure to “blood and any other potentially infectious materials” and to cover the costs of all vaccinations against sexually transmitted infections …
