NSAIDs double risk of bleeding in patients taking antithrombotics after myocardial infarction, study finds

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) more than double the risk of bleeding and also increase the risk of cardiovascular events among patients taking antithrombotic drugs after a myocardial infarction, even after short term treatment with NSAIDs, show results from a Danish study reported in JAMA.1
