Only a third of people with diabetes are having their treatment targets met properly, shows a new online tool for displaying levels and quality of care across England.
Public Health England launched its Healthier Lives: Diabetes, Hypertension and NHS Health Check online tool on 30 October (http://healthierlives.phe.org.uk). The tool, in the form of an atlas of England, allows users to look up information in any geographical area about the prevalence of the conditions and their complications, levels of care provided, and quality of care achieved in each area.
