Phillips was worried about our use of the words “dose” and “potency.”1 2 Our categorisation of daily statin dose was similar to one from a systematic review and meta-analysis of clinical trials that quantified the effects of statins on serum low density lipoproteins.3 The figure in our article mistakenly used “dose” instead of “potency” as column headings and we regret this inconsistency of terminology.
