Study links vasectomy to small raised risk of aggressive prostate cancer

Vasectomy is associated with a modest increased incidence of lethal prostate cancer, a 24 year follow-up study has found.1

Findings from other cohort and case-control studies have been mixed, but the report in the Journal of Clinical Oncology is from the largest cohort study with the longest follow-up period to date looking at the relation, the researchers said.
