We would like to reply to Cockayne and colleagues’ comments on our recent article.1 2
The study that they cite is a large randomised trial that compares salicylic acid and cryotherapy as first line treatments for plantar warts.3 They found equal efficacy for these two treatments—a conclusion supported by a recent Cochrane review.4 For symptomatic plantar warts, we advise salicyclic …
