Surely it is now only a matter of time before aspiring doctors start 'appropriating and proclaiming' authenticity. I look forward to the publication of the first series of 'Lecture Notes on Authenticity'. How is cynicism going to be dealt with in this search for authenticity? Is it going to be regarde as a sign of refreshing honesty, or well, just...cynicism. I am obviously a bit worried about that one. It is of course impossible to measure anything without influencing it.
