GP is suspended for dishonesty in preparing whiplash injury report

A GP has been suspended for six months by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service after he prepared a bogus whiplash injury report for his stepdaughter’s boyfriend, only to be reported to the General Medical Council by the boyfriend after a family dispute.

Anthony Kaufman of Chester built an extensive practice working for solicitors and medical agencies and has written more than 10 000 medical reports for personal injury claims.
