A trainee GP who posted photographs of three patients’ injuries on Instagram along with demeaning comments has escaped sanction despite a finding of impaired fitness to practise by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service.
Cemal Kavasogullari, who qualified in Turkey in 2008, asked permission from his patients to photograph their injuries with his mobile phone, to consult with colleagues.
