Six mental health organisations have urged the UK government to reconsider changes to the NHS tariff that they say will put “lives at risk.”
NHS England and Monitor have said that they would impose smaller cuts in the tariff for acute care trusts than for other types of trust for 2014-15 to reflect the extra costs that hospitals will incur to implement recommendations on safety, including recruiting more staff, made by Robert Francis QC after his inquiry into failings …
