The proportion of outpatient appointments missed or cancelled in London fell by 8.8% from 2008-09 to 2012-13, figures released by the Department of Health show.
Data listing the number of outpatient appointments recorded as cancelled or not attended in each NHS provider have been deposited in the House of Commons Library by Department of Health officials.1 The data cover 114 NHS providers in London and list the details of cancelled or missed appointments from 49 providers for 2008-09 and 97 for 2012-13.
