E-cigarette marketing is aimed at youngsters, says charity

Companies making electronic cigarettes are increasingly targeting young people through social media, celebrity endorsements, sponsorship, and online promotions, a new report from Cancer Research UK warns.1

The charity said that it was not against marketing of e-cigarettes to adult smokers, as they could reduce harm. But it said that unregulated marketing was sending a confusing message to children about smoking and may encourage more young people to take up the habit.
