Users of free condoms in India fell by almost 50% in six years

Users of free condoms fell by 11.6% between 2012-13 and 2011-12, according to the latest figures from 2013 health and family welfare statistics in India.

Although 26.7 million condom users were recorded in 2006-07, the number had fallen by almost 50% to 13.9 million in 2012-13, according to provisional figures.
