England’s new clinical commissioning groups could be placed at “serious financial risk” if asked to meet tough new government targets without additional funding, a representative body has warned.
NHS Clinical Commissioners warned that the Department of Health’s updated mandate to NHS England1 could lead to CCGs becoming unsustainable, because the revised plans had not been fully costed.
