Londoners have worst cancer care experiences: Nine in 10 hospital trusts in England with the worst feedback from patients about cancer treatment are in London, the charity Macmillan Cancer Support has found. It analysed the 2013 National Cancer Patient Experience survey of 68 000 people.1 Care in the capital was “lamentably poor,” and “pan-London effort” was needed to improve standards, said the charity. The best performing trust was Gateshead, followed by East Cheshire and South Tyneside.
