It analysed the 2013 National Cancer Patient Experience survey of 68 000 people.1 Care in the capital was “lamentably poor,” and “pan-London effort” was needed to improve standards, said the charity. The best performing trust was Gateshead, followed by East Cheshire and South Tyneside.
