NHS invites comments on how to improve emergency care in England: The public and NHS staff have until 11 August to submit their views to NHS England on what needs to be done to improve emergency services (www.england.nhs.uk/2013/06/17/uec), as part of the review of emergency and urgent care announced by the NHS’s director, Bruce Keogh, in January.1 The review will develop a national framework and associated guidance for clinical commissioning groups in 2015-16 to help them commission consistent, high quality urgent and emergency care services across the country within the resources available.
