Surgeon has 19 conditions placed on his practice

An orthopaedic surgeon in private practice—whose “inadequate” surgery had “serious far reaching consequences” for nine patients—has been allowed to continue practising, subject to 19 conditions.
Colin Mainds told a panel at the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service in Manchester that by 2009, he was often working seven days a week.
