Splendid idea. If Hackney can do this, why can suitably-motivated practices not do this?
Nothing has widened doctor-patient gulf more than our generalists' withdrawal from out-of-hours "onerous " work at a bargain price.
That said [and despite DH's assurances], many patients fear the forthcoming turbulence via CGGs could further sabotage the trust of some of the most vulnerable chronic disease service users. We shall see.
