Pradeep Natarajan (“Prad”) dreamt of being a doctor right from his early childhood spent in India watching his grandfather, who had served as a doctor in the Indian army, run a busy general practice out of his home in a small village in Kerala. Pradeep moved to England aged 9 years and spent his childhood in London. He trained in medicine at St Mary’s Hospital Paddington, London, where he was an avid member of the mountaineering club and was quite the thespian, most notably acting in a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
