I have diabetes type 2, which is controlled with 80 units of Insulin daily. I have recently been in France for two months, where my Insulin requirement fell to 30 units daily. My French doctor tells me that this is not uncommon, and they believe that this is because the French food producers do not add the same amount of sugar to their products as do the English ones.
With the ever increasing number of people with diabetes, is it not time for the Government to do something to control this situation?
Yours faithfully
