This article opens a addresses a very interesting debate of the effects of climate change on the health as a whole and cardiovascular health in particular. We know that since the industrial revolution, the cardiovascular disease burden has significantly increased which has been attributed to various factors. Now the interesting point would be is the increasing air temperature as a result of climate change also contributes? Also in developing countries,especially in Asia,where population are ar greater risk of cardiovascular health problems, the relatively high temperatures of the regions may also be a contributing factor. This opens a whole new area for research to understand the pathology and epidemiology of these illnesses in particular climates.
