Your article omitted some important details about the International Scientific Forum on Home Hygiene (IFH), described simply as "a global, professional, not for profit, non-governmental organisation". The IFH is funded by the world's leading manufacturers of home hygiene products (http://www.ifh-homehygiene.org/integratedcrd.nsf/IFH_About?OpenForm). These include Unilever, who were involved in founding the organisation in 1997 (http://www.hygienecentral.org.uk/staff-profile-sally-bloomfield.htm), and Reckitt Benckiser, who funded the latest report.
